Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Personal Library Manager (the "Service"), a personal book management application provided by KEAH LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

Account Registration and Security

Creating an Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Acceptable Use

You Agree NOT To:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Upload or share malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to spam or send unsolicited communications

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the Service ("User Content"), including:

• Book entries and metadata you add
• Personal notes and ratings
• Collections and descriptions
• Suggestions and feedback
• Profile information

License to Use Your Content

By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Public Collections

When you make a collection public, you grant anyone with the link permission to view that collection and its contents. You can revoke this access by making the collection private.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and share your User Content, and that it does not violate these Terms or any laws.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by KEAH LLC and are protected by:

• Copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• International treaties and conventions

Third-Party Content

Book cover images and metadata are provided by third-party services (e.g., Open Library) and remain the property of their respective owners. Use of this content is subject to their terms and for personal, non-commercial use only.

Trademarks

"Personal Library Manager" and our logo are trademarks of KEAH LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

Payments and Subscriptions

Free and Premium Tiers

The Service offers both free and premium subscription tiers. The free tier includes basic functionality with limits on the number of books, collections, and loans you can manage. Premium subscriptions unlock unlimited access to all features.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Premium Monthly: $3.99 USD per month
• Premium Yearly: $29.99 USD per year (save 37%)

Subscription Terms

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Price Changes

Prices may vary by location and are subject to change. If we change subscription prices, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database
• Open Library API: Book metadata and covers
• Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement or course of performance
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Security or freedom from viruses

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEAH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Data Loss

While we implement backup systems, we are not responsible for data loss. You are encouraged to regularly export and backup your library data using our backup features.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KEAH LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Your User Content

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, if appropriate, by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which KEAH LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KEAH LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
